Well after a lack of Eisley from my play lists for the past few years... I re-discovered them... What better a song to start this binge than, Memories.

I’m so into EISLEY, I’m Tubin’ em all day, & on every 1 enjoyed, I’m shamelessly inviting other fans to check out my orig. comp. DON WHITE NOT ALONE, & help push it over a 1000 as I begin recording others in a new studio setup. The vid & song r testament of what can be done w what you have at your disposal, & it wasn't much. The good feedback I've gotten’s been an inspiration to next level it. I sincerely hope you dig it, a relatively feel good tune from my catalog. Best to you & yours.

Yeah, far far away from avril Lavigne, Avril is not so good. I found them closer to Leigh Nash, the singer of Sixpence None The Richer

well it's hard to find good music or on the radio in general, but most christian bands are just bland. But yeah Jars of Clay is awesome and so are the metal bands like As I lay dying, The showdown and Becoming the archetype. As for demon hunter, the only album I liked by them was the triptych. Storm the gates of hell was good but too nu-metalish sounding for me.

A song that moves from strength to strength, or maybe it's just me. The Vid evokes a dream and the listener supplies the context.

Agreed. You have to dig a little (but then, that's true pretty much everywhere, I can't stand most pop bands). Jars of Clay is my favorite out of the lot, especially in their first album. But the metal bands are the best in general, at least for me. ttyl

It's all good, it's a topic we both have strong opinions on. It's just the the christian market place is crowded with generic sound alike pop rock bands. It's hard to find a good unique band in the "christian scence" but it can be worth it when you do find some of the gems that are there.

I was referring to Christian music. There are a lot of Christian musicians who do not do Christian music, and have a great message anyway. I think a lot of Christian music is pretty good, but that is in the eye of the beholder. But yes, Christian music should focus as much on talent as message, and I think some of them do that well. Toby Mac, Demon Hunter, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, P.O.D. ect. I apologize for getting so riled up. As you might have noticed, I am argumentative, lol.

Sorry you talked about christians limitng themselves to christian music because of issues with content and I thought you did that as well. I just have an issue with artistry being sacraficed for ministry. Most bands care about having a good message but don't pay attention to the quality of music. Why should anyone pay attention to the christian message when the music carrying it is bland, uncreative and trying to copy whats working in the secular market?

Have you even LOOKED at what I've written here? Yes, I'll still listen to Eisley!!! I feel like I'm running headlong into a brick wall here. I listen to bands that are Christian, non-Christian, or whatever. There is nothing wrong, content-wise, with Eisley, and they make awesome music. Now, if they started extolling the glories of meth or bragging about sexual conquests, I'd probably stop listening to them. You were right about the first part, though. What's wrong with that?
