it´s really sad that they focus on this "new-wave-of-commercial-hard-and-heavy-rock" now, not that i don´t like that stuff but i like the "power metal edguy" more!

I like the emotion he puts now, and I like the sound when he's really trying to grasp the high notes, but I prefered his earlier style, so clean and he could do it so easily and it was so impressive, he was just going higher and higher

Not really. His voice still sounds awesome, he just sounds a lot more experienced.

Uhm, he can still hit excellent notes, but his voice has become less naive-sounding. He now sounds a lot more experienced and wise (if a singing voice can sound wise). I liked his voice during this era, but his newer vocal sound is still just as impressive and great.
