"Adolph Ignatievich Rosner, also known as Eddie Rosner (May 26, 1910 in Berlin -- August 8, 1976 in West Berlin) was a Polish and Soviet Jazz musician called "The White Louis Armstrong" or "Polish Louis Armstrong" in different sources. This is in part because of his rendition of the St. Louis blues. He also served as a prisoner in the Gulag prison camp in the former Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin." Wikipedia

@supershoreman Ediie Rozner did not die in the Gulag. He died in West Berlin in 1976. Born in Berlin 1910 to Jewish parents he had to flee Germany after Nazi came to power. He escaped to Poland where he remained till 1939. He had to flee again after Hitler invaded Poland. He had to run further east and crossed the border into Soviet Union. He was sent to Gulag in 1946 for alegedly attempting to cross over to Poland.13 years назад

Lionized by the murderous regime of Stalin Rosner and family lived in luxury while tens of millions died on the Russian front from purges and combat. When it appeared the Nazi's were doomed in 1944 Rosner requested permission to return home and for that was declared a traitor and he and his wife were sent to the gulag and did not survive.Похожие клипы
