They destroyed the significance of this film with it's horrible sequel. i remember how powerful it was when at the end of the film after the newscast ends and the screens go black, you see Eddie standing there with the rest of the folks at the store window watching in the screen's reflection, that gasp on his face finally lets him know he made it. soundtrack kicked ass too, especially Fire Suite. surprised John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band never got big, they did quite a few songs featured on movie soundtracks.
