This song is my favourite Eagles song ever - it conjures up place and time in such an amazing way; not to mention regret and sorrow for lost times of innocence and just lost times of course and the way life changes places and people ("boards on the window and mud on the floor" - I have seen that hapening to places I loved so many times in my life-time). Randy Meisner, in particular, sings wonderfully on this. Anyone who has been a teenager with a pulse will relate to this.
