This guy should not be missed. As a technician and showman, he's first-rate.It's his artistry that sets him apart. He achieves a depth of emotion and power of expression that puts him next to Roy Buchanan in the Gallery of Greats.Rock On, Your Grace.ps. Roy's genius was in the way he transmitted his personal anguish through the instrument. Duke's emotional power isn't any less authentic, but he's not the tortured soul Roy was. Sometimes Roy leaves me stranded in the abyss of despair; Duke always lifts me up, even when he's wrenching my guts out - as he's doing here.Damn if that wasn't a lot harder to say than I imagined it would be.
