Ahhhh, Please Forgive Me. One of my favourite Ellington rarities. A beautiful composition especially the sumptuous reed section work at the end and Lawrence Brown flawlessly in the upper register on trombone. The sentiment of the title too...very important. Something that has to be said when something gets out of hand and a lovely young lady gets hurt when it's not her fault at all. This is a piece of music every gentleman should have to hand when the moment calls for it.
