Music hasn't changed nearly as much in the past six years as it has in the past two decades. I never once heard someone call DDG emo, not to mention this post-hardcore/metalcore style was commonfold in the early 2000's up until a few years ago circa 2009, even now it's making a comeback with the likes of stolas and a lot like birds. How can you say no one makes post-hardcore or metalcore when the genre is still alive? Perhaps you should listen to more music, and be more observant.

The time during ddg making this music there was like a 4 year period of like that whole everyone calling people "emo" phase where people were diggin this shit. You cant find shit like old school DDG or like Chiodos and Scary kids like anywhere. No one makes that sound anymore cause the time has gone and that time only lasted like 5 years.
