Edit: If you are curious to know why two videos for this song were released, I know the reason! I asked John in Facebook, and he told me:
"after last cigarette and wonderamaland did ok, our manager at the time convinced somebody at the record company we were signed to that it would be a big hit if they re-mixed it and put out a cassingle and made a new video in which I make an idiot of myself wearing a shirt buttoned down to my navel... that's why... we made the original one ourselves with some french TV guys who were based in hollywood and just basically stole stuff off the vhs of "Ciao Manhattan" for a segment on their show...they filmed us live and cut it to the record...there was another song they did like that..."
