Hmmm. Considering Kool Keith charted better with albums he produced himself, I think not working with the artist was a big mistake. The incongruence with Kool Keith's style - the beat not incredibly 'bad' by itself, but as a whole it damages the quality of the final product beyond redemption. The track's production has nothing to do with the message, besides; if the record hadn't been nerfed by the label, more people would have listened - and bought it.

I hadn't heard any of this album. I feel so terrible for Keith. No wonder he was so mad. It's like they were purposefully insulting him, knowing his previous work. He's always been so anti-industry and mainstream, in almost hurts listening to this.

Oh, now I can really understand this song better. I'm sorry if any one can expect the reality of the world, but the truth is if we don't make the move to renewable energy the trees will be gone and pollution will rule with a wealthy few at the top. Check out this documentary called Ethos hosted by actor Woody Harrelson. It is free to watch on the website. May be some of you will understand this video that don't seem to.

@bricitybrac Well he still made the song didn't he? If it wasn't for this song I may have never found out about Kool Keith who was from the Undramatic MC's. Its one of the coolest Hip Hop and Rap songs I've ever heard, and a unique one at that. The video couldn't be cooler, and going for a better cause. Some trivia, Keith is the self-proclaimed inventor of Horrorcore and Pornocore. Thats more so what this type of music is. I think the younger crowd just might like it better.
