Spooky Tooth was big in 1970 and toured the big arenas...the records were spotty but when they hit a home run, they did it big...this David Ackles song was right up their alley and they made it unforgettable....I was 17 and Vietnam was the big issue while the girls we knew from school were going through a liberation of sorts...the schoolgirl friends were coming into their own and had grown into big people with big desires and puppy love often turned to pain and jealousy and betrayal..
