I remember when this record came out and my Dad brought him the big 10-inch red labeled Columbia single. The flip side, "Confess," also was a hit and was also a hit for Patti Page on Mercury. Doris loved recording with Buddy Clark and loved his humor ("oh, he was a hoot," she once said). Doris and Buddy tended to improvise on their duets, so often the takes at the recording session came out differently.
