The fault is the song itself. Written during the Trance/House movement of the early 90's, it eschewed good melody and chord progression and instead had that "filler" sound that never really stayed memorable. The novelty of Ride on Time worked for Black Box, as did the remix of Finally for Cece Peniston, but none of the other dance/disco songs of the era had any real hook to them. Even Lisa Stansfield couldn't get any lasting traction with her stuff, and she can SING.

Let's be honest. This is a catchy remix at best. It's overproduced. It doesn't have any of the clean and crisp features of mixes of that era. This mix takes off but lands nowhere. ISA (whoever it is) should've paid attention to the transformation (by David Morales) of "Another Sleepless Night" by Shawn Christopher, for instance. One of my favorite tracks off "Mistaken Identity" which should have been a bigger hit. Unfortunately, this mix didn't, in particular, do much for Donna Summer.

been looking for this for awhile. a club i worked for had this 12 inch in their library, but it was impossible for me to get a copy for my own library given my resources at the time, thanx for sharing this. now at least i have a recording of it.
