Part of what makes Don Henley phenomenal is -- he's an amazing writer, as well as a performer. Very few performers write lyrics with the depth, complexitiy, and feeling that Henley does. Then, on top of that, he can sing with passion. Play drums, too. He's one of a kind.9 years назад

Piggy Pike I love the Taking You Home song by Don Henley...made a video of all my dog/cat/horse rescues to this song and thought it was the perfect song to describe how i feel about them. Youtube would not let me use the music I have written to Warner Bros to ask permission to use it. Anything else I can do? Don's tracks from his Best Of are all excellent, but I would put Don Henley in front of Paul Rodgers for World's best vocalists, but not by much, Paul is amazing of course. For singers who sing in one range but can hit high notes on occasion. Phil Mogg's voice is also timeless, ages well (the band UFO)10 years назад

Damn that was a GREAT performance!! I love this song, it so freakin' ROCKS!I saw Henley in Salem Oregon in the early 1990's. The show was outdoors in the summer at the LB Day Amphitheater, when he had his really long hair. Needless to say he blew the doors off the joint! I've literally been to almost 500 concerts in my life, and that Henley show is definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen!!The dude is extremely talented!!10 years назад
