I remember Doc playing I will survive very well. His version has stuck with me since I believe early 81. I also had a cassette tape of I will survive, MacArthur Park and I Can't Get Started Without You . The cassette fell into my car door in 83 and was wrecked....but the songs still stayed with me. The Monte Carlo Show and Merv had him on and those were his featured (Brilliant) performances. This was about the time he was leaving Getzen and on to Conn.Interesting after all of these30 years I get to hear them again on you tube thanks to many fans out there.
