Surely people who are into techno / trance music but have never heard the word of God, would firstly be attracted to the music then hear the words?If this is the case, then this music has worked to start the beginning of searching for God and beginning of faith?

for all of you who are against Christian Rock, Metal, Rap, Contemporary, etc.. Phillipians 4:6-7 clearly states to praise God with Psalms, Hymns, & Spiritual Songs. Spiritual Songs means anything Rock, Metal, Rap, Contemporary etc.. try and tell me christian rock is evil people stop being biblical illiterate & read your bibles. im 19 studying to become a youth pastor & if it weren't for christian metal i wouldn't be walking as strongly as i am today as a christian. you may not like it & thats fine everyone has their music preference but dont you dare say that christian rock & the other genres isn't biblical cause last time i checked God gave us the free will to praise him as we want. stop being legalistic & read the bible not what your pastor says on sundays.

This music isnt for us . It is for God. We make this music to glorify him. Music like this is being true to ones self and praising God fully. God made us as we are ,so we praise him in the way we understand. If you don't like it fine but don't be down on others for praising god in our own way. And if you read the bible it states that we are not all to be the same . we all have different talents to glorify God with. Who are you to judge how someone brings glory to God

I guess you can say that but back in the day rock music was considered wrong in church. But today there are full live bands that rock out and worship the lord. The film Jesus Christ superstar was considered the most horrendous thing for believers when it came out in the 70's. Now that movie is being shown at youth groups and bible studies that i know of. Everything is to worldly but in some cases but that might be the way to reach certain people and bring them to Christ.
