No one should ever commit suicide. No matter how much pain you may be in, no matter how hard things are, everything passes eventually. I'm pretty young. I'm only in my 20s! Yet, I've gone through some pretty intense and dark periods in my life. But trust me, the darkness will pass. Think of your problems like Kidney Stones. They're extremely painful, but they pass eventually. And when they pass, you will feel relief. You will no longer be in pain.Moreover, I find that Jesus is a source of great strength. I'm convinced that without Him, I wouldn't have been able to overcome the trials that have come towards me in my life. Jesus said "All who are weary and heavy burdened, come to me and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 God the Father has said "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." - Jeremiah 31:25God will give rest to your soul. He will give you the strength to carry on through your trials. Jesus said "In this world you will have many sorrows, but be confident because I have overcome the world." - John 16:33

Let me also point out that everyone should follow Christianity or another established religion/set of beliefs. Many atheists either change their minds constantly about what they really believe or just don't care. Ponder this: if Christianity is real and you refuse to accept God, you will burn in hell. The truth, whether its disproven scientific theories or an eternal god, is THE truth. You're rejection of the truth doesn't change the truth. If God isn't real, then I would be wasting my time telling you this, but I wouldn't suffer after death.

Let me just summarize why I believe there is a God. Science says the universe just happened in less than a second. They can guess on the time and the place that it started (when and where). But science, and no atheist for that matter, can provide the who and the why. People choose to believe the universe just came to be for no particular reason, and there is no true purpose for our existence. Christianity provides answers. People who disagree with this don't understand what Christianity is.
