In response to all the hate this album is getting, Rome said in an interview that the dirty heads were getting sick of making the same kind of music. They wanted to experiment, an opportunity to grow. Alot of people are so resistant to change, and I get that, it's scary. But where is the support for the band? Constructive criticism is cool i get that, but lets all remember what we are hear for. Honestly they could go in any direction from this point, it's an experiment lets keep that in mind.

I am from the UK and my husband is a dirty heads fan, so the new album spends a lot of time on repeat in the car. I think this is the best song on the album but hey that's just me.

Honestly, not a huge fan of this song.... and maybe a couple others on the album, but that goes for most albums of all artists.... not that it's "bad" per se. Nowadays (haha, who am I? I'm only 31... sounding like 67), it's hard to find an album you can listen to all the way through. However, still there's some well put together music on this album! I love most of it. More "poppy," I GUESS you could say that as a generalization, but I don't hear a ton of pop music like this. It's still unique. (btw, I'm a acoustic album & cabin by the sea kinda guy). fuckin whatever... I'm just drinkng and typing again.

Darn Dirty Heads and their selling out based on the fans definition of their music and what it should sound like! Shame on them, they should make Cabin by the Sea over and over again to please the people who think we the fans define what their sound is. As a fan of 6 years I can proudly say I love this album, and it's just as amazing as their other three CD's! Just different, but different is good sometimes! I would have been bored had they done the same sound as their last two albums, I mean I would have liked the album, but I enjoy seeing what they can do in different genres, and they didn't disappoint in pop/r&b!
