I recall Billy Cotton (having been DARED by Russ Conway) do a CARTWHEEL across the studio, on LIVE TV - on his EIGHTIETH BIRTHDAY! Roy Castle gave him an "out" - but he didn't need it. People were TOUGHER then - maybe because they'd been through a war. Dilys' sister Deborah, brother Giles (he's MY age) and father Jack (he must have passed away when you were about 8) were Britain's acting dynasty. Did/do you know/meet any of THEM?

She is a wonderful lady. She was fifty when I was born, but I still remember walking into my Grandmother's living room as an eight-year-old and seeing Dilys doing the splits in the middle of the floor!

Nice to hear from you! This is why I "service" my feedback. Dilys was a big part of my childhood. Sadly, I'm 59 now - but I still remember her sweetness and beauty.
