My first or second album ever. My mother was a record club member back in the early 70's and got this for me. Nearly 50 years later, I now have my own Minimoog. Thanks Mom!

My 5th grade teacher played this album for our class the year it came out. Every Friday he'd play some sort of music new to us & explain it to us. I still remember how Mr. Elso told us how "all the music is electronic" and played on something called a "Moog." Then he played it...and the entire class was transfixed. Some kid piped up that it sounded "like electronic farts" & we shushed him. Within a week I would own that album and play it so much that it developed scratches and finally bit the dust when someone spilled Coke on it at a slumber party & we were never able to fully clean it up right. Even so, my younger brother played it over & over too -- scratches & Coke stickiness notwithstanding. From there on out, MOOG was implanted in my brain & I later latched on to Kraftwerk, Gary Numan & the electronic music revolution that followed. THANK YOU MR. ELSO!

One time a friend and I were driving to New York (from Montreal) in the middle of the night along the adirondacks (beautiful) and it started pouring rain we couldn't see 5 feet in front of the car and this song came on the radio and it was like we were lifted off the road spinning through a vast void of space and who cares where we landed. Then I tracked it down, hell yea.
