i was THERE! i did a concert review for THE NEW YORK BEACON publication. some really nasty remarks on this site. it wasn't the same "ole" show. and yes, there were LOTS of people there under 50. she looked magnificent. especially in that GRAY SILVER GOWN!

Diana Ross, the perfect star to re-open this amazing palace! A huge success, a sell out crowd filled with people not from only Brooklyn, but from all over New York City. The success of this fabulous venue is proof that these classic theaters canturn an entire neighborhood around as investors now look into the surrounding properties. Jobs, tax revenues, and so muchmore - THANKS MARTY! can't wait to go back again, hope they installed projection equipment, it would be great to see aclassic film series there!

This absolutely reminds me of The Season 4 Finale of The Muppet Show (And almost looks like it too) except I bet that there was not one audience member booing like there was in that Muppet Episode with Miss Ross herself. Diana believe me, there are plenty of people (Average Joes and Celebrities) whose hands that you need to touch immediately and fast before a God knows what.
