i don't care if Gee was drunk or high or if it was the lowest point in Gee's life, this song still touches my heart and it always will. i showed this song to my friends and i started to cry and she was confused on why i was crying, so i told her about MCR breaking up and that Gee was at his lowest point making this album and stuff like that and then she joined me crying. it was the most sad/beautiful things i have ever had in my life and now she knows why i love all of MCR and why i love that Gee is still with us. and i literally listened to this song about 15-20 times in a row because i love it that much.THE BLACK PARADE WILL LIFE ON!!!!!!

This song is beautiful, honest to God art. I cried the first time I listened to it, and still tear up, listening to it, despite not crying often. And the fact that Gee was drunk when this song was recorded pains me even more. The lyrics are just plain bruising, the vocals raw and powerful, despite his drunken state. 'From backstage to the doctor, from the earth to the morgue' gets me every time, knowing that he was in a true dark point in his life. This song is just amazing, and now I'm rambling. This song is so amazing. I am reading a fanfic on Wattpad and so far in the story, Frank tried to kill himself and he is in a coma and he saw Gerard in his black parade costume and so he tried to follow Gerard (he thinks Gee is his guardian angel) and finds himself in a vast field. He then begins thinking of parades that his father used to take him to, before his father started drinking. Then he thinks of when his father drank, and he remembers a night where his father was beating him. But during the flashback, Frank is reliving it. But this time, he chooses to run away from his father and he keeps running and running and trips and falls on a tree stump in the middle of a dark dark field, and all of a sudden he hears this song playing. Idk it's such a good story and I cried when is said Frank was lying on the ground crying then he hears this song playing off in the distance...But anyway, does anyone know the exact meaning of this song perhaps?
