Do we have to break everything down into sub-genre? Honestly? It's metal. Just metal. Metal with Christian messages. People really need to stop trying to break everything down into their neat little sub-genre categorization. Try enjoying the music instead of trying to throw a label on it that, frankly, I believe the band itself wouldn't like. This is metal. Listen to it instead of debating where it belongs.

Actually "christian" metal is just called.... metal. Pretty simple. Also arch enemy this isnt even close to the first christian metal band. Check out Tourniquet (thrash metal), Mortification (grind/death metal). Living Sacrifice (death metal), Crimson Moonlight or Frost LIke Ashes (black metal). All bands from early nineties or older. And all seriously heavy bands.
