Actually Nirvana 2002 was initially called Prophet 2002, then they changed their name to Nirvana. Not much longer after this the American Grunge band from Seattle, Nirvana released its 1st 7" EP on SubPop, so the Swedish Nirvana added the previous suffix 2002: this was long before most people had heard of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain.
