This song is so sad and slightly reminds me of the past. when I was ten my parents wouldn't even pay a slight attention to me. They said that they loved me but they were always talking about me behind their back. And when I heard what they said I could do nothing but cry to tears. Ever since then I would hardly even say a word to them. I wish all of the parents would love and take care of their children no matter who they are.

My mom and my dad used to fight about his extremely heavy drinking and she made him choose between us and drinking and he chose alcohol. He left when I was four. I used stay with him every weekend but sometimes he would drink and pass out and I had to pick him up and lay him on the couch. It got very frustrating. He would drink so much he lost six different jobs cause he would show up drunk. Two days after his birthday my dad committed suicide cause he was depressed cause he had lost his job for drinking. He couldn't get a job and people would make fun of him by throwing bottles at his house and yelled 'drunk' when we walked by. He was never abusive. I miss him every day that passes by. I was extremely close to him. We were inseparable. I was so affected by his death I would try to commit suicide and starve myself. I finally stopped when I went to therapy and realized that my father wouldn't want me to do that to myself. So I stopped. It willed be five years on May 20. If your father is in your life please do everything you can with him cause one day you wake up and find out he's gone forever. Don't take your parents for granted cause they are the most important people in the world. My mother is very sick and she just got diagnosed with breast cancer and just recovered from surgery last year cause she had ovarian cancer that she had for almost twenty years and I do everything with her. She the only person understands me and she's the only person I have left. Demi is the person I can relate to the most out of every artist I like. She makes me feel better

Its crazy how this song relates to me but it wasn't my dad it was my mom who did all that to me. The one who was suppose to teach me how to be a woman. I safely live with me dad now but I can't let her go. I can't let go of the feeling of want her to be my mother and I can't let go the things she did to me and brother. Half of me wants her to be my mom and the other half doesn't care if she is part of my life. She refuses to believe that she actually hurted us mentally and physically and that's part of the reason why I can't have a good relationship with her now. I love her but she makes it hard to.
