No.. overall this is not "pure" death metal, only if you meant the SOUND, then yeah ... There is a bit of black in it coz of the demonic lyrics. it is fair to say Death/black metal. (remember black metal isnt "sound" like death, it's the lyrics + atmosphere). Label it watever you like, but this album is AWESOME !!!
