I went to this concert in Providence, R.I. in 1983. They stopped the show because people were going nuts throwing balls at the stage. Luckily they continued with one of my fondest memories of any concert, and there have been more than a few.

Can't believe all this negativity towards Vivian. Some musicians understand the supportive role and aren't there to take center stage. He was brought in during a horrible time in their history. He probably was just grateful for the job and kept his head down. It's probably tough stepping into a superstar band when they have lost a key member.
