Grunge didn't kill Rock. Grunge's "movement" was over almost as soon as it started. By the mid 90's it was starting to turn from Grunge to Rap/R+B. Also, to say that Grunge killed Rock is really rather silly since there were several Rock acts that had success in the early to mid 90's, like Bryan Adams, Tom Petty, Counting Crows...
