Lyrics:

Try to see it my way

Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go wrong

While you see it your way

Run the risk of knowing that our love will soon be gone

We can work it out

We can work it out

Think of what you're saying

You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright

Think of what I'm saying

We can work it out and get it straight or say goodnight

We can work it out

We can work it out

Life is very short and there's no time

For fussing and fighting my friend

I have always thought that it's a crime

So I will ask you once again

I'll ask you once again

Try to see it my way

Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong

While I see it your way

There's a chance that we might fall apart before too long

We can work it out

We can work it out

Life is very short and there's no time

For fussing and fighting my friend

I have always thought that it's a crime

So I will ask you once again

I'll ask you once again

Try to see it my way

Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong

While I see it your way

There's a chance that we might fall apart before too long

We can work it out

We can work it out

At least we can try

We can try out to work it out someday

my Dad was listening to this, and I said 'Dad, that's Beethoven'. He said 'No, that's deep purple", to which I laughed and said 'maybe, but the intro is Beethovens 7th, it's a cover of sorts'. He had no idea ^^

Creo que no exagero al decir que es el mejor cover que le han hecho a una canción de The Beatles.

Beatles version WAY better, and not all boringly drawn out like this. First time hearing this...and the last

'Exposition' is one of the most underrated instrumental songs ever...Astonishing overlooked composition...Jon Lord was Genius, He was the main part here...and that upbeat organ riff is incredible...Deep Purple at his best!

At 2:53 minutes comes some of the best most inventive electric guitar playing from Ritchie Blackmore...back then NO body played anything like his style...nice memories of Ritchie's playing....Book of Taliesyn is a great work in rock...

love how these guys take this old-world melody, complete with accordion in the Beatles original version, and rock it up throughout - an original interpretation, that in many ways improves on the original -- they were pretty great at doing wonderful things with other people's material (Neil Diamond, Beethoven, Ike & Tina, Wagner, etc)
