haha! as a matter of fact we are both bad ass bassplayers.. :-o I just tapped Bootsy on the shoulder which left my hand full of harglow and little shiny glitter... funky..in a different way ... by the way I was a motherfucker on bass before I touched "his holiness".. just by listening and playing along with every P-funk album I could get my hands on. as far as Bootsy being a star. he is indisputably the most important bass player in Funk music so with that reputation he'll never be forgotten!

Not understanding all the haters here... this ain't Keir tryin to out do Gwen. She did a damn good live version of a classic club joint here showing not only her vocal skills but also her knowledge and love of the classics. Appreciate that... And Bootsy is AlWAYS funky, dude. This version is bumping. Musically it sounds like a classic parliament groove. I could hear the Brides Of Funkenstein or Parlet doing this cover. People need to relax.
