Dee Dee was great, pity his last 10 years on the planet he went mad. If only he stuck with being the Ramones frontman with Joey on dtums i reckon he would not have been so envious and big headed. Still one of the 6 legends, fair play.

there's nothing sadder than wasted talent and apparently Dee Dee had lot's of talent to spare,Too bad he allowed himself to fall into a web of addiction that ultimately claimed his life.There has never been,Isn't now nor will there ever be another band like the Ramones again and we were fortunate enough to live in the same lifetime to witness such a unique band.Some of us were there to witness their beginnings early on and some of us (like me) who were born after that were lucky enough as well to make them a part of our lives.The "End Of The Century" documentary really broke my heart because it revealed an ugly side to the band,What I mean by that is that how can 4 guys who couldn't stand each other make such great music? I always believed in the brotherhood they supposedly shared and that at some point we'd get to see a brief but glorious reunion but I guess it wasn't meant to be.I know many people would've lined up to see that happen. RAMONES FOREVER in our hearts and minds,Gone but never to be forgotten.

this is an up close n' personal heartfelt film of Dee Dee Ramone who i miss very much! i'm glad that the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has made a commemorative signature electric bass guitar in honor of him!! i also hope their's an Action Figure of Dee Dee in the works someday soon!!!
