- Dee Dee Bridgewater: nace en 1950 y tiene una carrera larguísima. Es una cantante virtuosa en la senda de las clásicas intérpretes de Jazz, con una tremenda voz. He tenido la ocasión de verla en directo en el Blue Note de Nueva York y aluciné. En directo impresiona, su carisma, su soltura y su registro. Desde 2000 saca 5 albumes, el último en 2011 llamado "Midnight sun" que es un recopilatorio de baladas de toda su carrera bastante recomendable.Aparte de este disco recopilatorio su homenaje a Billie Holiday "To Billie with love" de 2010 también es una buena manera de empezar a conocer a la gran Dee Dee.
