Yea okay we get it, Hardcore was born in Holland. Can we now just be proud that this style is getting known all over the world and stop this bitching about how Holland is the hardest ? I'm from Belgium so feel free to tell me how I know nothing about Hardcore.

Youve never been to the US, youve never read up on it. You have no idea what you are going on about. so yes I think it's best you end your 'rant' (obvious you dont know what *that* word means) and go and get an education on the subject. I can recommend several books and websites. It's called 'learning'. Try it some time.

Name some big events in the US then? Australia has had Thunderdome in Perth (early 90s), Defqon, Iqon, Masters of Hardcore and don't forget Powerhouse Production making all those warehouse raves since the early 90s (WITH KILLER INTERNATIONAL ACTS). Face it, the US only recently adopted raves with EDC, and even prior, they were never as big as the ones in Australia.

Wrong. Totally and completely wrong. The USA did and does have a healthy rave scene. And they adopted it around the same time. I suggest some research is in order.

Because the usa and canada never had a legitimate rave scene. Australia adopted the dutch/european rave style in the early 90s while the US was still engulfed in various music genres especially hip hop.
