@demon91 Well yeah, they're all Death Metal, but the later ones seemed to incorporate more Thrash elements in them than the previous ones did. I should have clarified this more to avoid confusion. perhaps saying "I prefer the direction in Blueprints to the direction in Fearless Undead Machines" would have been a better way to word it, since Deceased always had Death and Thrash elements. regardless, everything King does is great to me, He's one of the very few musicians I can say that for.

@F4th3rJ4m35 I think every Deceased album is death metal, actually. I'm not sure why so many are quick to say they aren't, but.... those albums are very much death metal.

i wish we could of waited too! we were rushed by relapse to go back in and put out a new record QUICK. we went with an ep but we would neverrr rush new material for anyone! we take our time. so we did cover songs! after this we left relapse as they really were becoming a headache to us and too much bullshit! cheers to all! king fowley

Well, it wasn't really a full album, just an EP. but I see where you're coming from, It would have been great to have more original material on that release. I do really dig their cover of Anthrax's "Deathrider", though.

perhaps (ripoff) isn't the right term, I like death metal, christian metal and rock, oldies rock and some of the newer stuff. Deceased is great though, one of the best if not the best in death metal. I just prefer a band wait until they have enough of their own good stuff to make an album. the song (its alive) was worth the price of the CD though. i'd delete those other songs if I could from the CD.

I actually prefer Blueprints to this album. but I'm much more into Death Metal than Melodic Thrash stuff. every Deceased album is great, though.

Luck of the corpse, the 13 frightened souls, blueprints for madness were alright, however this album was so much better. I could make out most of the lyrics here where as I couldnt on the earlier albums. Their next album (supernatural Addiction) was as good as this one. Though not as fixated on walking corpses roaming the land. then the following album (behind the morners veil) a ripoff from other artist's songs with one good song (it's alive) after that, I lost intrest.
