Since their debut album, "Winds of Creation" was released to a largely unsuspecting public in 2000, DECAPITATED was hailed around the world as one of death metal's most promising bands.

Sadly, an accident in 2007 claimed founding member and drummer Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka's life and left singer Adrian "Covan" Kowanek permanently injured. It would be two years before guitarist Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka would resurrect the band with three new members.
