Song's about a cop who shot and killed the mayor of san francisco and his aide and got away with by making a false insanity plead based on him eating to many twinkies.

drinkin' beer in the hot sun i fought the law an' i won i needed sex an' i got mine i fought the law and i won, etc. ... the sarcasm of DK is superb and unique, and the more is simple, often, the less is banal and forseeable. This band is a geniuses act that didnt want to sell out just because they're geniuses - geniuses with a heart, that's the reason why they never sold out but they always been fertile, in the sense that they've ever been able to express something deep and true remaining withing some musical and lyrical ranges that never changed but that has been enriched of new elements every and each single time the band did something new - whether an (at epoch) e.p. , whether a full lenght, or maybe a flexi 7'' inches given for free during an anti-homophobe rally in S. Francisco some time after the murder of the only openly bisex (or gay) city major (this song first came in such format and occasion, btw). I apologise if i did some errors, i'm not from an English-speaking Country and i'm so very fucking drunk (as it's the beginning of the new year). Well, gonna check the possible errors in my comment later, when i had a bit of sleep i'll provide correction, nd tha lhyric to tha song as well, if needed!
