incase you havent heard this answer, a saiyan fights with emotions. when angry over loss they go super saiyan, vegita doesnt give 2 shits about anyone, so he doesnt have a reason to fight. he just fights because he wants to. while gohan/goku fight to save everyone. very general answer, but their emotions are their power. vegita is just a dull dunce compared to gohan and goku.

@LoCoLaG well, neither won much near the end. only really goku won. gohan got worse when he got older, but on;y because he didn't practice, and vegeta practiced so he was better. they both manly lost, though, since they couldn't keep up with how hard their enemies were getting

Goku just had an edge over Vegeta and obv story revolves around him not vegeta so goku cudn't get his ass kicked everytime although he deserved it more... :P :D

@LoCoLaG gohan was beaten senseless by videl? and gohan was always powerful he actually got weaker the oldder he got he was never as strong as he was in the cell battle as far as i know
