I always had my DOTN CD and my AIC cds right next to each other ! MY 2 favs!!! I didn't put AIC OR DOTN in the " GRUNGE" genre! THEY are both ONE of a KIND ! RIP LAYNE!! KEEP ON ROCKIN TRAVIS !!! You're truly one of a kind and special to a lot of people! Take care of yourself !

I met Layne just b4 he died, and he was a cool guy. But just bcause D.O.T.N is from that era doesn't mean Travis should get lumped in with the grunge movement. They stand alone as a mainstream bridge 2 the 'blues' & 'folk', and should have been respected as one of the great artists of the era, as well as 'Stabbing Westward'(who ,by the way, did it better than trent reznor wishes)(S.W. still exists as 'The Dreaming' 2 keep the old record label from continually screwing them over, if UR interested), and 'Candlebox'(One Of The Best Rock/Jazz bands EVER). And 'YES' this song belongs on Red. I hope Travis can soon regain some focus, and make a great comeback with a Blue, Purple, Silver, or maybe Multi-Platinum L.P., lol.

Love Travis' voice but I think layne staleys was better and will never be matched by anyone ever again. He combined the raw growl of eddie vedder, with the scratchy classic grunge Kurt cobain voice, and had the range of Chris Cornell, thus making the best rock singer of all time in my opinion. But hey, this is Travis Meeks video I'm commenting on, and his voice is out of this world as well.
