I saw this show in Chicago that year at the Rosemont Horizon as it was known then, and I have to say looking back, wow were they preening or what? as for the spandex, make-up and big hair, that was the style back then and you had Zep,, Sabbath and others if you prefered the jean and t-shirt look, Any hoot it bought back memories for me and yes I'm sure they look back and say wow I looked like that? but then again we all do when we take a look back. This was diamond Dave in his prime folks not the Pat Boone versions of Van Halen he is now. I believe this was his first tour after leaving Van Halen.
