Bryan- Bowie would've been a cult success irrespective of Ronson and Visconte et al. But a poor reflection of his current status.I hope that Bowie and Ronno made peace prior to his passing in 94. I was at the memorial concert at the Apollo and would've lived for bowie to have stepped out.Instead I was blessed to have seen Mick Woodmansey and Trevor Bolder perform 'circle' with Def Leppard and an admirable effort it was too.In summary I do agree that Ronno and Visconte were so important but so was that nutball Angie, she was the fuel in the ziggy rocket!!!

There are those who like Let's Dance and Labyrinth....Necessary evils in the bowie canon.But, for me, it's being captivated by the brilliance of width of a circle, quicksand, unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed, Bewley brothers, 1984, all the madmen, five years, sweet thing/candidate and Janine that separate the 'fans' from those who get it.I'm not purporting to elitism and whatever the reason for liking Bowie is in itself enough. The man is quite simply breathtakingly incomparable!
