The "David Live" Tower show was the "Diamond Dogs" tour. "Dogs" was released in March and these shows were in July. I had orchestra pit seats on the July 13 evening show. The show for earlier in the day had been cancelled, and there were people everywhere trying to score tix. The only people in front of me were a camera team from Mainman. Known for not doing encores, we were surprised when he came back on stage to do "Knock on Wood". (You hear him say "You win." on the album.)

the outfit leans me to believe its the" david live "(at the tower Philadelphia)album and not the diamond dogs tour yes ..its deffo the david live album i can tell from the acoustics..thats earl slicks guitar..sanborns sax..etc

@durante888 Many Bowie fans mention Bowie and cocaine in the same expression. But if they had experience with the drug, they'd know, most likely, never was he jacked on it while on stage.

OUCH.........doesn't even compare to having Mick Ronson on guitar and Woody on drums. That was TOO MUCH to believe. This is........LAME. He shouldn't have even tried this song without them.
