And here it is.The Pixies can be heard spelling out PIXIES between choruses. Bowie's version spells out DAVID. Cute.It's a song about a crazed obsessive who wishes his obsession to sweat, spill food and wine, and bleed upon her dress, then send the dress to him--as a guard against loneliness and as proof she's not dead. You know, your typical love-obsessed pop song, just more explicit and honest.
