Dave van Ronk

From "Somebody else, not me", 1982. Dave died about 10 years ago, leaving an unparalleled musical legacy. Not that many people remember him these days, but the man was a giant in his community. Without him, there would have been no NYC folk scene for Bob Dylan to find. No copyright issues, as far as I know.

Can't thank you enough for promoting this little gem here... in a REAL hifi bitrate.Wish every uploader had the same respect for the artists, the music, and us listeners.(People, it really does make a difference -- especially if you have a really good set of earbuds or headphones, or use the YT as a source for a hi-end audio system.)

thanks for posting this, van ronk is the best. it would be awesome if you could post everything you have of dave's. there isn't nearly enough of his stuff on here, especially his early stuff.
