nothing will be as mind blowing as that initial 7". when i saw them everyone left the floor and stood their with their arms folded saying things like: "this isn't music" and "you can't dance to this". those same kids were wearing daughters t-shirts 3 months later.

@SevereThroatCancer I just listened to Hell Songs for the first time through, I was surprised at how freakin short it was! I liked a few tracks but overall I think the self titled is much better. It still has the chaotic feel to it, but also has a bit of formula, if that even makes sense lol.

@Crim122 True, this was the first song that I heard of the new album and this is by far the noisiest of the album. The other songs are awesome too, but I do miss the Hell Songs psychotic and helplessness feeling to it. Not that it's a problem, 'cause I have Hell Songs if I want to listen to music like that! And if I want something hell-ish trippiness that swings my socks off, then I can listen to this album.

@dickshagle Awesome, that brings up my hopes a bit! I agree with you that Sadler and Jeff (other guitarist) were a big part of daughters, but I have no doubt that Alexis and Jon will come up with some mindblowing.

@SevereThroatCancer I've been trying to figure this shit out too... their wikipedia page says they added 2 new guys... I emailed Hydra Head about it and they just asked where I found that information and they never confirmed nor denied it. So who knows. I feel like Sadler was a huge part of this band, but Alexis and Jon were foundational. Who knows, but it's bothering the shit out of me.
