The painful part of this song for me in high school is the fact that my first love and I had an experience very close to this songs description and I found out through(god this makes me feel old) livejournal. She met a guy one summer, and I read every little detail, this song came out and it felt like Chris wrote it around her LJ post.

If you take how many years dashboard has been a band..I want to say at least 10 years. that is over 2,000 songs easily Chris has produced. I know there are some songs he writes just for himself like all writers have for the sake of getting it out and helping them deal, ect. But I really wish he'd publish half of those songs...:/ I think he has about 300 songs between dashboard, vacant Andies, and further seems forever. we're missing about 1700 still. Oh well.. maybe one day he'll put them out

Chris was called "The king of Emo" lol from sources of sites giving reviews of shows. When Chris was interviewed he agreed his music and lyrics were emotional, but he never thought that "emo" was his genre lol, but he understands why some might classify it that way. He also said he writes over 200 songs a year. "There are a lot of songs people haven't heard because I chose what goes on the records, and I never regret putting a song out on an album." This guy knows what he knows and why folks. :)

Chris carrabba is my hero.... I know,every song he has ever made and i relate them back to this girl i datedin high school her parents wouldent let us date and despite that i dated her anyway. We got caught 7 times and i got in soo much trouble. I love her so much and i still love her and i hope one day i can spend the rest of my life with her.
