Darkthrone is one of the first bands to produce the "necro sound", which in turn is the worst sound possible recorded on a bad sounding amp. They rebelled against typical structured song writing along with Burzum another black metal band. Also Darkthrone used one mic to record everything which made the production grainy and rustic, itself a rebellious way of recording music. Its a classic black metal band, but depressing in my opinion especially the earlier albums.11 years назад
