I love Blackmore's Night!!! This is a great rendition of this song, I love it. This song is based on a traditional Russian song called "Polyushko Polye" (Полюшко поле). I like how the song maintains the idea of the original Russian lyrics, especially through the music itself. It is about battle, as this version is. If you want to hear a version of the original Russian, look it up sung by Origa. =)
