Danny is my youngest of 3 brothers. When our father died years ago, Danny and our brother Tim sang (with their guitars - they used to sing together as The Mighty Quinn) Danny Boy at Dad's funeral by his open casket. Dad had a trained Irish Tenor voice and spent a lifetime singing this song. There wasn't a dry eye in the room, and I was sobbing. Couldn't hear Danny Boy for a long time without breaking into tears.

I like everything about his voice and the way he sings the song but for the notes he hangs onto and the clang chord at the end. JMHO

I met danny on Martha's Vineyard during the summer of 2009 at the pub he owned. I was very disappointed to find the pub was replaced by another restaraunt when I returned to the island during the summer of 2010. Great guy!
