I am the most nervous about this song, because I am the most honest in this song. Most people think it's about just being determined and keeping your grind up. Keeping to the path. Finishing your path. But for me the song is more about recognizing ...what if you're stuck in your ways and you know your stuck in your ways and you want to fix yourself but you can't. It's about growing older and realizing maybe this is kind of it. Maybe your relationship with God, family, and self isn't what you thought it would be.....but not in a like an emo...this is it sort of way. It's in a ...mature. This is what it is. Let's accept what it is ...because it's fine - its' reality. And what do you do from there. of course I do want to end on a positive note. That you can always change. There's always a time to change your ways. But the song is being realistic. It's easier said then done.
