yes i know he is from the lawrence arms. sorry for typing slightly shorter. sue me. and what the fuck does that have to do with anything? i know dan was in slapstick (have their discog album that i bought on vinyl for free tickets to see the lawrence arms). do you even know what i was talking about? (some people dont like ska. and some people only know alkaline trio because they are more popular around the country. the lawrence arms are still pretty famous though.

@gibboneymichael and you werent introduced to either bands by someone else.. all hes saying is if someone really wants to learn the song its quite easy.. its only 5-6 chords.. repeated.. and you would have to be tone def to not know it.

My advice is dont try and play a song if you dont have it memorized. Its pointless! What I do is listen to a song so many times that I can hum out every part, every melody- guitar bass drums vocals. it is only then that I pick up my guitar and try to play the song. So thats it, if you memorize the song, the task of humming a note and finding the matching power chord is not complicated, unless ur totally fkn tone deaf.
